Bloomberg School of Public Health

The Bloomberg School of Public Health is the first and largest school of its kind. Consistently recognized by U.S.News and World Report as the nation’s top public health program, the Bloomberg School encompasses 10 academic departments and more than 50 centers and institutes. Every day the students and faculty work to keep people around the world safe from illness and injury by pioneering new research, deploying knowledge and expertise in the field, and educating the next generation of scientists and practitioners in the global defense of human life. The many areas that are studied and shared include chronic and infectious disease prevention; health policy and advocacy; the epidemiology and preservation of mental health; and further research in the behavioral, environmental, and societal determinants of health.
